It’s Golden! Arrow Fastener website design, marketing strategy win national award

Hanley Wood Brand Builder Gold Award - Best Website Design and Marketing Strategy

It’s always gratifying to implement a marketing strategy on behalf of a client, and do so via a dynamic, new website design.

It’s even more gratifying when that strategy and design is recognized at a national level. We’re happy to share that our friends at Arrow Fastener took home the 2017 Gold Brand Builder Award for Best Website Design and Marketing Strategy. The award, from Hanley Wood Media, recognizes the complete redesign of arrowfastener.com, which launched in fall 2016.

Bill Sokol, Arrow’s vice president of marketing, accepted the Gold Award at the Brand Builder Awards, held in Chicago.

“Arrow is proud to be awarded a 2017 Brand Builder Gold Award for best website and marketing strategy,” Sokol said. “As a leading media company in the residential and commercial construction space, Hanley Wood is uniquely qualified to know innovation when they see it. This award is strong validation of our hard work to reconnect with Arrow customers and make our 88-year-old brand relevant to them in new ways.”

Marketing strategy stands out

More than 80 companies submitted entries in nine categories, ranging from traditional advertising campaigns to social marketing strategies to channel marketing programs.

This is the second award in less than a year for arrowfastener.com. The site snagged a Gold ADDY from the American Advertising Federation of the Greater Lehigh Valley (AAFGLV), which allowed us to compete at a district level against marketing and ad agencies from New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C. The Lehigh Valley judges also recognized arrowfastener.com as a Judge’s Choice.
