Boost customer interactions with QR codes

QR CODES

Marketing today is all about fast information and easy access and the use of QR codes speeds up the accessibility of your information to your customer.

While QR codes are not new, they have regained popularity through the pandemic. They were used very effectively to give information to people at the door when businesses were closed, which has given them new traction in the marketplace.

They are also easier today for customers to engage with as the camera on most phones can scan them without the need to download an app for that. QR codes connect people to your product quickly and are being used in a variety of new ways. You can find them on billboards, web pages, mailers, posters, ads and even in TV commercials, as well as on promotional items such as T-shirts and frisbees.

You can monitor your campaign performance with a QR code, which embeds a unique URL into these square graphics. This makes your tracking more accurate by sending your audience to a specific location for key product information. There is no guesswork or uncertainty to what you were asking them to do.

Your audience can be directed to send emails and messages which support your campaign. Your QR code can provide directions to your business or location. But typically, the QR code will take you to a landing page or website for a product, service or event.

Promotions and discounts are frequently used by businesses to drive traffic. The easier you make it for your customer to make a purchase spontaneously the better the chance you have of closing the deal. Shoppers bounce around and if the QR code helps get them exactly to the product they’re looking for, it should increase your chances for more conversions.

Customization in appearance is also an option. You can add simple logos or even change the colors of the pixels and corners. Anything to grab the attention of your audience. And always make sure the QR code is large enough to be easily read.

For one of our clients, we created a series of QR codes that were customized with their logo and colorized to match their branding. They used these codes in various places to direct their customers to specific information and promotions.

Moving forward, consider using QR codes in your next marketing effort to increase your chances of connecting with your audience.

If you’re looking for ideas on how best to integrate QR codes into a campaign or need help with your marketing plan, Contact SWBR and move your company toward greater success.
